About Us
SHINE Strong is a collaboration between scientists at the Legacy Center at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), the Trans Research Unit for Equity (TRUE) and the Center for Public Health Research (CPHR) at the San Francisco Department of Public Health, and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). TRUE is a science-community partnership whose mission is to generate knowledge, and eliminate health disparities in trans and nonbinary communities around the globe.
